The Railway has become the place to eat and drink when visiting Honiton and the owners have created a warm and relaxed environment where the emphasis is on good quality food with real ales and a welcoming atmosphere. The Railway (Inn) also offers superb town centre conference facilities well suited for a broad range of business meetings and located conveniently for almost any business in the South West.
Food
We will only ever serve you food we'd be happy to be served ourselves, which is why all our chicken and eggs are free-range and so is our pork. Our steak is 28-day dry-aged British beef. We avoid air freighting fruit and vegetables by buying Seasonal and British produce wherever possible. Our cheeses come from artisan producers. Sourcing the best quality fresh Ingredients from ethical producers cost us more, but we know that it is worth it.

Private Dining
The Railway is the ideal venue to hold your special celebration such as a Birthday or Special Anniversary. We pride ourselves upon consistently high standards and attention to detail. Our Private Room can comfortably accommodate up to 26 guests and seating can be arranged in a variety of different ways depending upon the type of event you have planned.

Smoking is not permitted inside or outside the property. There is a designated area by the car park.
Please note that children under 14 are not allowed in the bar area but welcome in the restaurant when accompanied by an adult.
